Mum was hospitalised, fobbed of and told it was due to her sedentary lifestyle. After being admitted to hospital twice in a month it was only when they decided to do a scan that they found the cancer. I am appalled that this young woman fought for so long to be heard. Doctors must listen! I was diagnosed early because my tumor had attached to my side and I had experienced really bad pain when I ran. I had some of these other symptoms earlier but the possibility of ovarian cancer was never mentioned. I am now 37 years from that diagnosis.
